ˇ Get off the blue line at the UIC Halsted stop.
ˇ At the top of the ramp turn right (south) on Halsted and walk to Harrison (about three blocks).
ˇ At Harrison turn right and walk about 1 ˝ blocks to the theater building at 1044 W. Harrison.
ˇ You’ll see a marquee on Harrison that indicates the theatre building.
ˇ Enter the upper lobby and go downstairs using either staircase to the lower lobby.
ˇ There are restrooms in the lower lobby.
By Car From the City
ˇ Get to Halsted (any way that you can) and go south.
ˇ You’ll be at Harrison within two or three blocks after crossing over I-290.
ˇ Turn right on Harrison and you’ll go by the theater building.
ˇ Parking garage on your right just past the theater building (this is a pay lot).
ˇ Directly ahead of you at Morgan is another lot.
ˇ There is alsofree parking on the north side of
I-290 on Van Buren.
ˇ If you park at Van Buren walk east (towards the city) to get to Halsted.
ˇ Once on Halsted, go south and follow the directions listed for the train travelers.
ˇ If you use one of the garages, walk south to Harrison.
ˇ Turn right on Harrison if you parked in the Morgan lot.
ˇ Turn left on Harrison if you parked in the multi-level lot.
ˇ Once on Harrison, follow the directions listed above to find the theater building.
By Car from the Western Suburbs
ˇDrive east on I-290 towards Chicago.
ˇGet off at the Racine exit (exit ramp on right)
ˇGo straight through the stoplight at Racine.
ˇYou’ll be on the backside of the parking garage.
ˇIf you continue on straight ahead, you’ll come to the Morgan Street parking lot.
Free Parking & a Walk
If you’d prefer free parking and you don’t mind a bit of a walk, then follow the directions listed above for a car but instead of circling the building go over the bridge to the north side of I-290. The street parking on Van Buren (first street north of I-290) and Jackson (the second street ) is free!
Once you’ve parked, if you’re on Racine walking south you’ll turn left once you get to Harrison and look for the theatre building marquee just past the UIC Pavilion building. If you’re on Halsted, walk south over the highway and turn right on Harrison. Look for the marquee.
